Greystone Lodge is situated roughly 1900m above sea-level.  Dullstroom is one of the highest towns in South Africa and it has the highest train station in the country, sitting at 2076m above sea-level.

We experience varied weather fluctuations at the Lodge from cool misty mornings to sweltering hot afternoons and rainy evenings.

It is best to come prepared for all seasons.  

The cold winter days and nights in Dullstroom are sought after for those log-fire loving guests.  Lucky for you, we supply free firewood for your fireplace.
