The sunset as Uncle Vaughan passed away, with his best friend, Gerhard van Zyl and his Niece, by his side.
Uncle Vaughan with Ildikó, his Niece
29 December 1949 – 26 September 2020
My dearest uncle Vaughan suffered with Liver, Lung and Colon cancer for 2 terrible months.
He was a gentle, intelligent, soft spoken, wise man with many talents. Electrician, builder, plumber, handy-man, counsellor, best friend, best uncle, best mentor anyone could ever wish for, are just a few of his remarkable traits.
At 69, he fell in love with life-long friend, Tina Albers, after being single for 30 years.
His legacy will live on at Greystone Lodge which he purchased in March 2016.
Terence and I strive to do his memory proud by maintaining an excellent standard of upkeep and client service at Greystone Lodge.
